The ICT INTERN role involves duties in design and development, where the intern will take part in software application development using .NET technology, engage in system analysis, and produce clean, maintainable code. Responsibilities also include testing and deployment through unit and integration testing, maintaining and supporting existing applications, and monitoring system performance. Additionally, the intern is expected to collaborate in meetings, seek mentorship to enhance coding skills, and work with team members to improve overall productivity and software quality.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate in the design, development, and optimisation of software applications using
• NET technology
• Participate in system analysis and contribute to the design of software architecture
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices
• Perform unit testing and integration testing of developed solutions
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks
• Assist in debugging, fixing, and enhancing existing software applications
• Monitor technical performance of internal systems and address issues promptly

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree/ National Diploma in Computer science/ Information Technology Systems /Electrical engineering
